What are the differences between BMW SUV models?
The BMW SUV lineup is confusing at best. What are the differences between BMW SUV models? With different body styles and different price points, it can be difficult to get a firm grasp on the lineup, but we are going to attempt to straighten all that out and give you a clear picture of the SUV lineup from BMW.

Which BMW SUV is the most luxurious?
Luxurious is often just another way to ask which one costs more, but it’s as sensible as any. The higher the cost, the more features you are likely to find crammed into your vehicle.
Here, the BMW SUVs fall simply into their numerical order with the X1 having the lowest starting MSRP and the X7 has a starting price about double that.
Which BMW SUV is the largest?
It’s when we start talking about size that the BMW SUV lineup gets downright confusing, but we will attempt to straighten it out for you. Before you ask, no, the X1 is not the smallest SUV in the lineup. The BMW SUV lineup is all over the place in terms of size, and depending on how you look at size, your list might change. We will demonstrate by looking at three different metrics, max cargo volume (all seats folded down), length, and seating capacity.
Before we chart it out, the seating capacity is the easiest to tackle. The X1, X2, X3, X4, and inexplicably the X6 all have a max seating capacity of five. The X5 can seat five to seven passengers depending on options and the X7 can seat six to seven passengers depending on options.
|Model||Max Cargo Capacity||Length|
|X1||58.7 Cubic-Feet||175.4 Inches|
|X2||50.1 Cubic-Feet||172.2 Inches|
|X3||62.7 Cubic-Feet||185.9 Inches|
|X4||50.5 Cubic-Feet||187.5 Inches|
|X5||72.3 Cubic-Feet||194.3 Inches|
|X6||59.7 Cubic-Feet||193.8 Inches|
|X7||90.4 Cubic-Feet||203.3 Inches|
As you can see, in terms of length and cargo capacity the X7 is the largest and the X2 is the smallest. Interestingly, if we were to discuss width, the X1 would be the smallest and the X5 would be the widest, so it’s a pretty mixed bag all in all.
